Stephanie Diener
Stephanie developed a consistent yoga practice in 2017 when training for the Pittsburgh marathon. She found yoga helped her recover quicker from long runs, prevent injury, and sleep better. At the same time, she found herself using principles she learned in yoga, including connection to breath, to help patients in her healthcare career in occupational therapy. She enrolled in yoga teacher training in 2018 to deepen her own practice and enable others to access yogic principles to support their health and vitality.
Stephanie loves fitness and strength training, running, and cooking. Her 10 year daily meditation practice has been enhanced by yoga and she loves to share meditation and mantra with students. Stephanie developed a coaching LLC in 2019 which combines her skillset learned in yoga, fitness lifestyle, her psychology degree and background in therapy, and her desire to help others achieve their most authentic life. Stephanie transitioned careers in 2020, and now works from home in the virtual learning industry where she can hang out with her two senior dogs and tend to her garden. She started canning food from her garden with the help of her boyfriend and believes in using locally sourced ingredients and supporting small businesses. |
Philicia Barbieri
Philicia first walked into a yoga studio in 2016 at the encouragement of a friend, and immediately fell in love with the practice. She was initially drawn to the physical side of yoga; noticing how yoga increased overall strength and flexibility. After developing a consistent practice, it was the mental aspects of yoga, the breath and moving meditation, that kept her coming back.
In 2018 Philicia completed her 200-hour teacher training through South Hills Power Yoga. Since completing her training. Philicia has continued to take additional workshops and classes to advance both her own practice and teaching skills. Philicia loves to share yoga with others; paying attention to breath and allowing each student to have their own unique experience. Outside of teaching yoga, Philicia works as the director of drug and alcohol treatment program in Pittsburgh and is a licensed therapist, she lives in McKeesport with her boyfriend and 3 dogs.

Kiersten
Kiersten first started doing yoga in 2017 when she joined a friend for class. Immediately she fell in love with the practice of connecting body, mind, and spirit. Following her intuition, she signed up for teacher training in 2021 which fueled her love for yoga even more. After every class she hopes to leave her students feeling confident, accomplished, and inspired. When Kiersten isn’t practicing yoga, she is probably at home hanging out with her cat, Greta.
